ABADEH

This ABADEH rug strongly resembles the nomad products of the ABADEH (IRAN) area created with HEYBATLU design. In this design normally there is a small diamond shape medallion in the centre of a bigger diamond and the entire field is covered by a stylised motif. In the four corners also you see the same diamond as the centre.
ABADEH carpets are good finishing and hardwearing, the colours are generally a brick red or beige and various shade of blue, yellow and green. The weave is fairly fine and the woollen pile, on cotton warps and wefts clipped quite thin.
